I was born and raised in LA County, CA. I am looking to start a new life. Where is it better to live in New Mexico in terms of jobs, singles, cost of living, housing and slower paced lifestyle?

We’re starting out in Santa Fe (New Mexico, US), traveling to London, England …where is the best place to start looking for tickets? What airlines are best?

I’ve been there a few times, however it’s only been to the southern half (Carlsbad, Roswell) One of the times we did labor for all of the day, so I wasn’t really concerned with what I needed to bring.
This time we are flying into Albuquerque and driving that day to Santa Fe. The next morning we are driving to Taos. This is where I’m confused: It’s New Mexico, yet at an elevation of 9,000 feet. Super hot (closer to sun) or chilly?
Also my parents are going to be in meetings all day, so I have 9 days to roam by myself. Any suggestions on what to bring or what to do?

We live in New York but will be spending Christmas with his family in Tucson, AZ. After Christmas, we want to take a little trip up to New Mexico together for New Year’s. Neither of us has ever been there. I know it’s the “off season” but we don’t mind that. Just looking for some suggestions as to which place would be more enjoyable on New Year’s Eve/Day. We’re also open to other destinations as long as they are all within driving distance from Tucson. Thank you!
My grandparents are going for Christmas and asked if i wanted
to go along. What’s the weather like ?
Any good restaurants/attractions worth seeing ?
Tell me about it (:
